About Shiv Verma
I was born in Gujarat, India. Shortly after receiving my bachelor's degree in Physics and pursuing my post-graduation in computers, I immigrated to the United States in early 1999. Ten years later, I started my first so-called adventurous startup venture side gig. I winded up the business cashing out some profits. Fourteen years after my arrival, I wrote my first series of non-fictional books on varied topics sharing my life experiences:
1. Millionomics: My Journey to Gaining Financial Freedom,
2. Book Authority: How to Write, Self-Publish & Market your Book, and
3. Interesting Discoveries on Dogs & Birds
I currently live and work in Northern Virginia. I consider my writing hobby as a great stress buster while giving me the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge. I am now a proud citizen of the United States!
Almost after 25 years of living in the USA, I am now in midst of journaling my next set of life experiences and masked wisdom! The first in this series is Trading Rewired! I will share more as and when I get to them!
Let me further say this, like you, I’m just a normal human. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth, although that would’ve been nice! My objective here is to simply make a positive impact in the lives of people I have the privilege of connecting with. No false promises or overhyping my vision. It just feels like I’m embarking on a new voyage, so, I want to take as making people along as I can! This is not about the destination; all the matters is the journey. My goal is to share my hand-curated “trail guide” with you (with trail info, routes, maps, and detailed reviews) so you can avoid getting lost on this long-distance hike. “Getting lost” not only entails extra miles and getting delayed, it could also mean injuries—which are categorized as minor, moderate, serious, life-threatening, or critical.
The profits generated from my books, products, and consultation services will allow me to directly engage in opportunities for random acts of kindness. Not only am I a huge advocate for mental, physical, spiritual, and financial health, but my sister is also a humanitarian who is passionate about funding shelters for the elderly or folks with disabilities experiencing homelessness.
Everything I share here is a compilation of all my life experiences and wisdom acquired over the past decade.
Full Disclaimer: I’m not a financial advisor, doctor, Ph.D. professor, or psychologist. I’m just a seasoned trader and human, who likes to share what I’ve learned so you don’t have to make the dozens of mistakes I made! So, come on in, and pull up a seat, hopefully, you’ll learn a thing or two from me and I’ll learn something from you too!
